Moraine Park Campground is open for summer camping. Campsites are available for tents and RVs. Campsites are available by reservation only. To make a reservation, visit www.recreation.gov online, use the Recreation.gov Mobile App or call 1-877-444-6777 and search for Rocky Mountain National Park - Moraine Park Campground. Summer camping in Moraine Park Campground will end at noon on Monday, October 19, 2026. The campground will re-open for winter camping beginning at 1 pm on October 19.

All standard electric campsites have electric hookups available that can accommodate 20, 30 and 50 amps.

  • 19 campsites have been improved for accessibility.
  • These sites have concrete parking pads with flat, concrete walking paths to a picnic table, fire ring, and tent pad area.
  • The picnic tables have extended tops and there are raised fire rings to make them easier to use.
  • For campsite details, see the individual campsite descriptions for each campsite on Recreation.gov.
  • 1 RVs, vans and trailers can camp in all loops.
  • Sites with new electric hookups are available in Loops B and C.
  • Generators are not allowed in Loop-D.
  • Generators Hours are at 7:30 a.m. - 10 a.m. and from 4 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
