Select its marker and you can continue directly to the corresponding park page in the National Parks Explorer.
From there, you can learn much more about the destination, including park information, alerts, climate and weather information, Things To Do and links to useful official resources.
This makes the map much more than a collection of park locations.
It becomes a starting point for exploring the National Parks themselves.

📍 See National Parks in Their Geographical Context
A National Park rarely exists in isolation.
Its location can determine how easily it fits into a road trip, what other National Parks are nearby and which cities might form the starting point for a visit.
That’s why our map of U.S. National Parks includes more geographical context than just the park markers themselves.
State abbreviations help you quickly identify where parks are located, while selected cities make it easier to understand the relationship between National Parks and familiar destinations across the United States.
The result is especially useful when you’re beginning to plan a trip.
Instead of asking only:
“Which National Park do I want to visit?”

Registered National Parks USA members can also take the map beyond the website.
The map provides options for printing and downloading, making it useful when researching or planning a National Parks vacation or road trip.
Available download options include PNG and JPG, along with a printable version.
You might use a downloaded map while comparing destinations, discussing a route with your travel companions or simply keeping an overview of the National Parks you still want to discover.
Visitors can explore the map online, while registered members unlock these additional printing and download options.
