Next spring, from April 6, 2024 to be precise, we want to make a short tour through Texas. We will leave on April 6th starting in Dallas with the solar eclipse on October 8th. After this we want to descend left or right towards the south and make a short circuit to fly back from Dallas 9 days later. The roundtrip focuses on the solar eclipse, SpaceX and Houston (NASA)
I am very curious what you would recommend as a minimum to visit on/along this route. There are no national parks on the route, but perhaps beautiful state parks? What should I definitely not miss in the big cities?
We only have limited time but we definitely want to see as much as possible.
